Globalgifts has learned over the years that a holistic approach is necessary in order to build sustainable communities. So we’ve developed a set of global initiatives that prioritize areas of emphasis that must be addressed if we’re to meet our mission.

Farming and Ecology are a focus In countries where agriculture makes up the majority of the rural life. Community members learn how to protect, rejuvenate, and take pride in their land. Globalgifts supplies tools, water, and discourages deforestation. We encourage village co-ops where possible.

Animal Care is unlike some places in the world, water buffalo, goats, pigs, and oxen enjoy life's of unfettered existence in North India and Nepal. Nearly all of the chickens that are given to village recipients are "free-range."

Gender Equity is crucial in the view of Globalgifts. Gender equity is a social justice and human rights issue that directly leads to ending hunger and poverty. As a Christian Relief organization we have adopted the strict policy example of Jesus as He walked the earth. He never treated women as second-class citizens and we won't either.

HIV-AIDS ~ Today, we as a world community, confront AIDS, a virus that in the past 25 years has either infected or killed over 64 million people. It is not only a health issue, as it fractures every sector of society, but for Globalgifts, it is a reality in the life's of those we assist. Several of our projects focus on women's health education, awareness, and prevention. Many of the young girls rescued from the sex-trafficking industry are "test-positive" and the need to be assisted after an experience of horror in our community training groups. 
Micro Enterprise ~Globalgifts Projects provides both self-help projects in the form of livestock, as well as income-producing  gifts to  that yield big benefits for families.
